Supposedly, this is a very likable movie – with a Roaring 1920s costume, music and set – however, the film star and director George Clooney can’t seem to make up his mind on what to do with this movie. One minute it is a romantic comedy, and then the next it switches to screwball comedy, and then to slapstick. It is too scattered to make a mark in your mind.
With Renee Zellweger teaming up with Clooney in the cast, it will sure lure huge moviegoers, but with a weak story and ill-defined characters, there might not be an ardent fan that will root for the ending.
