The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
While the movie’s length is as long as it’s name, the Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a cinematic masterpiece and is well worth the time you spend watching it.
Brad Pitt plays Benjamin Button, an individual who suffers from reverse aging – he was born with the condition and looks of an 80-year old man, and gets stronger and younger-looking as time passes. Cate Blanchett stars as his leading lady and narrator of his life, as she passes on the story of Benjamin to their daughter at her death bed.
The pace of the movie is near perfect, and along with the plot, pulls you in a well-crafted and well-presented story with easy to understand dialogue. Cinematography is excellent, and compliments the screenplay very well. All the actors gave excellent performances, and besides Pitt, Blanchett and Taraji P. Henson (who plays Benjamin’s foster mother, Queenie) played their parts well.
